LakeLearn helps you aggregate, manage and learn with your pinned videos, blogs and articles. AI generated summaries, flashcards and knowledge checks make learning a breeze!

The Idea
Learning new things is a big part of my life. Especially Programming and Marketing are my areas of interest. I love to read books, read blog articles and watch videos about it. At one point I had my own YouTube channel making videos about programming with Blazor Link. The more videos and articles I have watched and read the more I felt like I am loosing overview over the learnt content and forgetting stuff. That's when I had the idea for LakeLearn to create an app that helps to organize online learning content and create quizzes to better learn with it.
The Name
From the beginning it was always clear to me that I want a somewhat prescriptive name for the startup. So I started searching for name combinations around 'Learn' that presumably also start with the letter 'L'. Because my vision for the product is it to help you dive into your learning content that can be an unstructured Data Lake => 'Lake' came to mind. I associate a lake also with tranquillity and adventure. Both attributes needed to learn sth. new. Thats why I've named the Startup LakeLearn.
Myself
My name is David Eggenberger and I am 28 years old. In high-school my primary interests were social sciences. I really enjoyed History, Geography and Business lessons. After high-school graduation I've discovered my interest for programming. It followed my also through my business studies. Utilizing the learning to build my own startup is my dream. LakeLearn is my first serious try to do so.
The Journey
I dont intend trying to get external funding for LakeLearn. Organically growing the venture with my own resources seems a more suitable approach. I would love to have you on-board of this journey! Hopefully LakeLearn can solve a pressing need of yours on the way. That would really mean something to me. Feel free to contact me if you have feature requests, ideas, critiques etc.
